Scarecrow Proposes

Have you ever been just strangely compelled to do something, for no apparent reason?
No?
Nobody?
I see...
Well, I was, and this is what I did. I haven't done a pic of my version of Dorothy and Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz in a long time, but last night I got this image in my head and HAD to draw it for some reason... The image in my head was originally just them looking at something, but when it came time to draw what they were looking at... I drew a blank. I thought, "flower? Nah. How about an emerald? Yeah, that works. Heh, it'll look like he's proposing, though." That's when I heard a loud "PING!" in my brain and drew that ridiculously small ring in Scarecrow's hand.
Well come on, they've been beating around the bush for 70 years now, it's about damn time if you ask me!
